Subsequent to the major 7.5 magnitude earthquake in New Zealand’s South Island at 12.02am on Monday 14 November, we report that our Hally Christchurch plant is in full operation. We have suffered no property damage, have had minimal staff disruption and our production schedule has not been impacted.
We have raw material on site to complete all jobs this coming week, but the transport out of finished product remains an issue due to road closures between Christchurch and Picton.
Please refer to the below link from our distribution partner Mainfreight Group which is being updated daily and contains the latest detailed information on road transport options. Air freight remains an option for us, and we will work closely with affected clients to avoid all possible disruptions to their businesses.
Please contact your usual Hally team member for further information, or feel free to call our Group General Manager Anne-Marie Sutton, on 0274 952 917.
